The key points first:

Arrival:
Rooms are ready for occupancy from 15:00 on the day of arrival.
We endeavour to keep the waiting time as short as possible for earlier arrivals. On request, subject to availability, there is also the possibility of an early arrival from 11:00 am.

Departure:
On the day of departure we ask you to check out by 10:00 am.
A later departure (late check-out) until 15:00 is possible for a surcharge from € 50.00, subject to room availability. Please ask at reception.
We are also happy to store your luggage for you after check-out. Use of the sauna area/showers is possible until 18:00 at no extra charge.

Fitness Area:
The fitness room with TV is located in the centre of the building. The training times are from 07:00 to 22:00.
Children under the age of 16 may only use the training equipment when accompanied by an adult.
A personal trainer can be provided on request.

Meal times at the Hotel Der Westerhof:
Breakfast:We serve the Westerhof gourmet breakfast buffet Monday - Friday from 07:00 - 10:00 and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 08:00 - 11:00.
Bavarian Brotzeit Plate: Available daily from 19:00 on advance booking (until 14:00) at the reception.

Payment:
Various payment options are available (cash, EC card or credit card). We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

Reception Hours:
Reception is open from 07:00 to 22:00.

If you arrive later than 22:00, please inform us at least 1 day before arrival so that we can prepare a self-check-in.
On the day of departure we ask you to leave the room by 10:00 am. A later departure (late check-out) until 15:00 is possible for a surcharge from € 50.00, subject to room availability. Please ask at reception.
We are also happy to store your luggage for you after check-out.
Use of the sauna area / showers is possible until 18:00 at no extra charge.

Sauna:
Bio sauna, Finnish sauna and infrared cabin are available from 15:00 - 21:00. Extended opening hours are available on request.

Information on various mountain huts in our region is available at reception. We are happy to provide you with touring poles and corresponding maps. On request, we can provide you with a packed lunch.

We will be happy to organise a babysitter for you. The price is from € 15.00 per hour.

Bar
Our hotel bar at the Westerhof is a ‘bar of trust’. (self-service and payment for drinks on departure) and you will find the bar in the lobby, to the right of reception.

Bathrobes
You can borrow a bathrobe from reception at any time.

Beverages
Coffee and refreshing water are available free of charge for our hotel guests in the breakfast area. Other drinks are available around the clock at our hotel bar, the ‘Bar of Trust’ next to reception.

Bicycles
We are happy to lend bikes on request.

Breakfast
We serve the Westerhof gourmet breakfast buffet Monday to Friday from 07:00 am to 10:00 am,
on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 08:00 am - 11:00 am.
The breakfast area includes the breakfast room and the farmhouse parlour on the ground floor. In the summer months, you can also enjoy breakfast on the marvellous south or east-facing terrace with lake view.

Departure
On the day of departure we ask you to leave the room by 10:00 am. Late check-out is possible until 15:00, subject to room availability, for a surcharge from €50.00. Please ask at reception. We are also happy to store your luggage for you after check-out. Use of the sauna area/showers is possible until 18:00.

Dinner
We do not have an à la carte restaurant in the hotel.: For dinner we recommend our partner restaurant ‘Pasquale im Stieler-Haus’ in Tegernsee. Please make a reservation there in advance.

Dogs
Please understand that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area - in summer also on the breakfast terrace! Dogs must be kept on a lead during the entire stay in the hotel and on the hotel grounds. Please note that the surrounding area is a hunting ground!

Environmental Protection
Environmental protection affects us all. Please support us and observe the following points:

• Turn off the light when you leave your room.
• Turn off the television completely at night, without stand-by.
• Ventilate the room briefly and vigorously and please do not leave the window tilted when the heating is on.
• Please avo unnecessarily high water consumption.
• Please return your empty returnable bottles.
• Please observe the waste separation in the hotel

Fire Extinguishers
The locations of the fire extinguishers are marked on the escape route plan in your room.
In the event of a fire or disaster, please keep calm! Please avoid anything that could cause panic. Please follow the emergency exit signs and never use the lift.
The assembly point is in the upper car park under the chestnut tree.

First Aid

Fishing
Fishing season: 01.03. - 30.11.

Fitness Centre
The fitness room with TV is located in the basement in the centre wing of the building. The use of our fitness equipment is free of charge. You can work out at any time between 06:00 and 22:00. Children under the age of 16 may only use our equipment when accompanied by an adult. A personal trainer can be provided on request (€ 120.00 per hour).

Garage / Carport / Outside Car Park
Parking (outside parking space at the hotel) is free of charge.
We can provide you with a garage parking space on request, subject to availability, for € 20.00 per day.
You can hire a carport parking space for € 15.00 per night.
For our senior suites, the carport is available free of charge on request and subject to availability.

Night Porter
The Hotel Der Westerhof does NOT have a night porter.
From 22:00 - 07:00, your calls to reception will be routed via an emergency telephone. Please bear in mind that this will wake one of our employees from their sleep at night and should therefore only be called in genuine emergencies. Thank you for your understanding!

Our reception is open daily from 07:00 - 22:00.
Reservations can be made daily from 09:00 - 17:00.

Room Cleaning
The rooms are cleaned from 08:00 on weekdays and from 09:00 at weekends. If you do not wish to be disturbed or do not wish your room to be cleaned, please hang the “Do not disturb” card on the outside of your room door.

Routes
At the reception you will receive routes for hiking and/or cycling, cross-country ski trail maps, bus timetables, train timetables and further information about the Tegernsee Valley.

Sauna
Sauna area with marvellous lake view. Bio sauna, Finnish sauna and infrared cabin are available free of charge from 15:00 to 21:00. Extended opening hours are available on request. The entire sauna area in the hotel is textile-free. Children up to the age of 12 may only use the sauna when accompanied by an adult.
