The name ‘Wösterhof’ first appears on paper in 1286, yet there is little mention of it until 1427.
The entry in the abbey’s archives for 1427 states that the ‘Westerhof’ was to cultivate around 1.5 acres of land, not a mean feat for the Middle Ages.
