Highway A8, exit Holzkirchen (No. 97), direction to Bad Tölz/Tegernsee (B318). Drive ca. 16,5 km to Gmund am Tegernsee. At the junction straight ahead on B307 (Münchner Straße) direction Rottach-Egern/Tegernsee. Follow this road for ca. 4,3 km to city sign Tegernsee.
After passing the city sign Tegernsee, first road left (Hochfeldstraße), then first road left again (Karl-Theodor-Straße), pass through to the end. Next crossing turn semi-left into Neureuthstraße. Follow that road 1,5 km uphill. Behind "Gasthof Lieberhof" turn left into Olaf-Gulbransson-Straße. The hotel is at the end of that road (dead-end)

Highway A8, exit Irschenberg (No. 99), direction to Bad Tölz/Miesbach/Hausham/Bayrischzell (B472). Drive ca. 7,3 km to Miesbach. At the junction turn left and stay on B472. Follow that road and after ca. 1,5 km go straight ahead on B307 to Agatharied. In Agatharied turn right in Fehnbachstraße. Follow that road ca. 1,9 km to junction Edelweißstrasse (St2076). Turn right. Ca. 5,6 km straight ahead to junction Tegernseer Straße. Turn left direction Tegernsee (B307). Follow that road for ca. 3,4 km to city sign Tegernsee.
After passing the city sign Tegernsee, first road left (Hochfeldstraße), then first road left again (Karl-Theodor-Straße), pass through to the end. Next crossing turn semi-left into Neureuthstraße. Follow that road 1,5 km uphill. Behind "Gasthof Lieberhof" turn left into Olaf-Gulbransson-Straße. The hotel is at the end of that road (dead-end)

• By train - direction from Munich:
From Munich Main Station take the train directly to Tegernsee station. There is a regular direct connection to Tegernsee provided through "BOB" (Bayerische Oberland-Bahn). Length of journey ca. 60 min.
